Demetris is the program founder of the Young Aviator’s Academy, an innovative program tailored for young aspiring pilots aged 12 to 15. This initiative aims to mentor and guide participants on their journey to becoming aviators, providing essential support, education, and training to help them achieve their aspirations. The Academy emphasizes vital competency skills such as leadership, critical thinking, situational awareness, crew resource management, multitasking, and discipline. By incorporating industry training protocols into an age-appropriate curriculum, Demetris has created a unique learning environment that facilitates comprehension and application of key concepts.
In addition, Demetris has pioneered the first-ever pilot camps and summer pilot camps in Cyprus. These camps, for kids aged 9 – 17 which range from 2 to 7 days, are designed to engage and educate young aviation enthusiasts about the various pathways to becoming a pilot. Participants learn the fundamentals of flying, gain practical experience through advanced simulators, and receive actual flight training on state-of-the-art aircraft, under our instructors expert guidance.

Demetris Demetriades is a registered lawyer with the Cyprus Bar Association for over a decade, specializing in corporate and commercial transactions, with a particular focus on aviation law. His expertise is further underscored by his designation as a post holder for Dento Training Ltd, an authorized training organization approved by the Department of Civil Aviation Authority in Cyprus (Approval CY.ATO.005). In this role, Demetris serves as the Compliance and Safety Management Systems Manager, where he is responsible for overseeing compliance and safety within the ATO.
