Yma-Lhasa Couegnas is a 15‑year‑old high school student with a strong interest in both STEM subjects and the arts, particularly music, and literature. She plays the piano for leisure and gave her first public performances at the Women in Tech Global Summit in Paris (2024) and at the World Expo in Osaka, Japan (2025).
Curious about the world, Yma-Lhasa is passionate about different cultures and has travelled to more than a dozen countries across five continents. In her free time, she enjoys reading and learning new languages; she speaks French, English, Portuguese and Spanish, and is currently learning Japanese. She was also part of the winning team of a youth hackathon in Paris in July 2025, reflecting her growing engagement with technology and innovation.
