Silvio is a dedicated Digital Product Manager at the Bank of Cyprus, where he spearheads the conceptualization, analysis, planning, and implementation of innovative digital products and services. He is the driving force behind Joey, a groundbreaking initiative designed to enhance financial literacy among youth aged 9 to 17. Additionally, Silvio oversees the MoneyFit service, which prioritizes the financial well-being of the Bank of Cyprus retail customers. His work also involves exploring emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Ledger Technology, to further enhance the bank’s digital offerings.
He has over 18 years of experience in internationally operating companies and within his previous role at IBM Business Consulting he advised organizations in Cyprus, Switzerland, Germany and China on Profitability, Risk Management and workflow optimization matters. Silvio holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering, along with both BSc and MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from the Technical University of Vienna. He furthered his academic journey by earning a PhD in Risk Management from the University of Manchester (UMIST).
